Adamson proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 47) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the Roosevelt Mustangs out 14-12. This was payback for the Leopards, who suffered a 31-14 loss the last time these two teams met.

Juvencio Nava threw for 89 yards and a touchdown. De'Jay Jackson was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 31 yards.

Roosevelt lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being D'Adrien Starling, who rushed for 120 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Desricc Thomas also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Adamson now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Roosevelt, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-1.
