Baseball Recap: Spokane Comes Up Short

Spokane managed to slip by Wheatland the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Owls lost 8-1 to the Mules on Friday. The Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spokane's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Wheatland, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-3.

Spokane has already played their next matchup, a 7-5 win against Marionville on the 12th. As for Wheatland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-1 victory against Lincoln on the 10th.
