Miami proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 21) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fort Gibson Tigers , sneaking past 16-14. The victory was nothing new for the Wardogs as they're now sitting on five straight.

Khyler Walker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 236 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards. Miami also got a significant boost from Sam Lillard, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 95 yards.

Miami was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 334 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
