Softball Recap: Borah Lions vs. Nampa Bulldogs

Borah was the 7-5 winner over Nampa when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Borah Lions fell just short of the Nampa Bulldogs by a score of 10-9 on Friday. Borah has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Borah got a good showing from Megan Meracle, who pitched an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meracle has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, Kayla Campbell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs.
