Baseball Recap: Emmetsburg's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Emmetsburg had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Central Lyon Lions as they made off with a 9-2 win. The E'Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Emmetsburg pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games.
