Soccer Recap: Faith Baptist Takes a Loss

Faith Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Faith Christian. While losing is never fun, Faith Baptist can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 359th, while Faith Christian are ranked 123rd).

Troy Smither and Justus Mosey scored all three of Faith Baptist's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Faith Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Faith Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-1-3 record this season.

Faith Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Faith Christian, they will take on Bethany Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
