It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Washington had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Christian Academy Warriors 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Senators as they're now sitting on six straight.

West Washington's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Morrow, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

West Washington's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

West Washington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Borden on the 2nd. Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
