Basketball Game Preview: Thomas-Fay-Custer Terriers vs. Hydro-Eakly Bobcats

The Thomas-Fay-Custer Terriers will face off against the Hydro-Eakly Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Thomas-Fay-Custer came up short against Mooreland on Saturday, falling 42-18. The contest marked the Terriers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hydro-Eakly made easy work of Calumet on Friday and carried off a 55-30 win. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Hydro-Eakly is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Thomas-Fay-Custer, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-8.

Thomas-Fay-Custer was able to grind out a solid victory over Hydro-Eakly when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 46-37. Will Thomas-Fay-Custer repeat their success, or does Hydro-Eakly have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
