Lumberton owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They put the hurt on the West Brook Bruins with a sharp 7-0 win. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 9-1 victory the Bruins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Hudson Emerson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Emerson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Emerson wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Talon White, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Luke Cody was another, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
