Menlo School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chuck Wynn, who rushed for 124 yards. That's the most rushing yards Wynn has posted since back in September of 2024. Merrick Ward helped out on the ground, rushing for 81 yards.

Drew Martinez refused to say out of the backfield, picking up two sacks all by himself. King's Academy received some extra help from Nathaniel Vargas, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Menlo School's record is now 8-2. As for King's Academy, their record now sits at 9-1.

Saturday's game might be decided on the ground. Menlo School has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 178.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like King's Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 156.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Saturday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
