Volleyball Preview: New Castle Trojans vs. Frankton Eagles
After five games on the road, New Castle is heading back home. They will host the Frankton Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Meanwhile, Frankton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Oak Hill.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-23, 21-25, 25-13.
New Castle's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Frankton, they now have a losing record at 13-14.
New Castle was able to grind out a solid victory over Frankton in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, winning 3-1. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Frankton's Claire Duncan, who had 24 digs.
