Football Game Preview: South Lake Eagles vs. Eustis Panthers

South Lake is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Eustis a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The South Lake Eagles will be playing at home against the Eustis Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

South Lake's offense might be in the hot seat on Monday considering what happened against Mount Dora on Tuesday. They lost to the Hurricanes on the road by a 14-0 margin. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while the Hurricanes are ranked 91st).

Meanwhile, Eustis also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 6-0 to East Ridge last Thursday.

Eustis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for South Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
