Waseca had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 4-7-1 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Blue Earth Buccaneers with a sharp 12-6 win. The Bluejays' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

As for Blue Earth, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-19-1. On the bright side, the six- run effort marked their highest-scoring matchup to date.

For Blue Earth's part, Jessi James made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple was James' first of the season. Another player making a difference was Reagan Machacek, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Looking ahead, Waseca will take on Jordan at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Blue Earth, they will challenge New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
