Volleyball Recap: Howards Grove Wins Going Away Against Random Lake

Howards Grove won the last time they faced Random Lake and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers blew past the Rams 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Howards Grove was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-15.

Brianne Vandoske was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six matches.

Vandoske wasn't the only good servers: Howards Grove was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Random Lake only served three.

Howards Grove's record is now 18-11. As for Random Lake, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Looking ahead, Howards Grove will host New Holstein at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Random Lake, they will face off against Lomira at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
