Recap: Indian Trail Hawks vs. Racine Park Panthers
There's no place like home for the Indian Trail Hawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Racine Park 85-45 at home. The victory was all the more spectacular given Indian Trail's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while Racine Park is ranked 33rd).
Despite the defeat, Racine Park saw an underclassman step up: Ellie Khreish scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 blocks. Madison Gomez was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Indian Trail's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Racine Park, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indian Trail will square off against Muskego at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Racine Park, they will head out on the road to face off against Westosha Central at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Westosha Central is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
