Football Recap: Buena Park Coyotes vs. Cerritos Dons
Buena Park couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Cerritos Dons on Thursday, falling 38-0. The Coyotes lost against the Dons in their previous head to head back in August of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 14-7 score last time.
Dikshanta Adhikari was a one-man wrecking crew for Cerritos as he rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Sagun, who rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buena Park will welcome Sunny Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cerritos, they will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Gahr at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
