Baseball Recap: Chambers Takes a Loss

Chambers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Mallard Creek Mavericks, falling 17-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, with their most recent loss being a 17-0 defeat last Tuesday.

Chambers' loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Mallard Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season.

Chambers does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mallard Creek, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-5 defeat against Independence on the 28th.
