Football Recap: Parkdale Takes a Loss

Parkdale extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-2. They had to suffer through a 38-0 loss at the hands of the Potomac Wolverines. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 36-0 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in October of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Potomac, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 points this season.

Damarion Baxter was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 92 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 57 yards and one TD.

Parkdale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 36-0 loss against Eleanor Roosevelt on the 20th. As for Potomac, they have also already played their next game, a 48-12 victory against Bowie on the 19th.
