Basketball Recap: Sherman Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sherman can now relate to. They took a blow against the Tug Valley Panthers on Wednesday, falling 73-34. While losing is never fun, the Tide can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Panthers are ranked 12th).

Sherman has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season. The win (which was Tug Valley's 18th in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

As of now, neither Sherman nor Tug Valley have any future games scheduled.
