Soccer Recap: Copley vs. Archbishop Hoban
If Copley was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Cuyahoga Falls last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Copley Indians fell just short of the Archbishop Hoban Knights by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2019.
Copley's loss dropped their record down to 7-3-1. As for Archbishop Hoban, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
Copley will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Barberton at 6:00 p.m. Copley is facing Barberton at the right time seeing as Barberton is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Archbishop Hoban, they will head out to face off against Madison Comprehensive at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
