Volleyball Recap: Northwest Christian Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Northwest Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the San Tan Foothills Sabercats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-16.

Izabella Bombinski paced Northwest Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Bombinski got some help from Mallory East and her 14 assists. Colbie Wouters controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Northwest Christian will take on Pusch Ridge Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Tan Foothills, they will challenge Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
