Basketball Recap: Thornton Fractional South Victorious

Thornton Fractional South won the last time they faced Reavis, and Nick Ford did his part to make sure it happened again. The Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves breezed by the Reavis Rams to the tune of 64-30 on Tuesday thanks in part to Ford, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (five).

Another player making a difference was David Nkwogu, who posted two points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played.

Thornton Fractional South now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Reavis, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Thornton Fractional South will challenge Oak Lawn at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Reavis has already played their next contest (against Hancock), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
