Lake City faced Coeur d'Alene in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Timberwolves lost 15-5 to the Vikings. That's two games in a row now that the Timberwolves have lost by exactly ten runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Lake City and nudges their season record down to 16-9-1. As for Coeur d'Alene, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-2.
