It was a good run, but Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Wilson Warriors by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since March 3rd.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Wilson, their victory bumped their record up to 16-14.

Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Deshler on the 15th. As for Wilson, they have also already played their next game, a 6-5 loss against Lauderdale County on the 12th.
