Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Eldorado walked away with it. They won by a run and slipped past the Cleveland Storm 8-7. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Eagles sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Cooper Burak tossed a big game, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on John Wofford, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Hoffman, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Eldorado pushed their record up to 22-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cleveland, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-10.

As of now, neither Eldorado nor the Storm have any future games scheduled.
