On Monday Charlie Culver struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. The performance marked the fewest earned runs Culver has had since back in March of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with more than six strikeouts. On the season, he has an ERA of 11.08 over 12 innings pitched.
