Basketball Recap: Moorcroft Comes Up Short

Moorcroft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 36-28 to the Guernsey-Sunrise Vikings.

Moorcroft's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Guernsey-Sunrise, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moorcroft will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hulett at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Guernsey-Sunrise will take on Niobrara County in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
