Soccer Recap: Mariner Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Wins at Home

On Thursday, Mariner faced North Fort Myers in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Mariner Tritons lost 4-0 to the North Fort Myers Red Knights. It was the first time this season that the Tritons let down their fans at home.

Mariner's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-2. As for North Fort Myers, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Mariner will head out to face off against Barron Collier at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for North Fort Myers, they will be playing at home against Riverdale at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
