Volleyball Recap: Skyline Coyotes vs. ALA - Queen Creek Patriots

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the ALA - Queen Creek Patriots. The Coyotes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2019.

Brianna Buxton paced Skyline's offense, picking up seven kills. Buxton got some help from Elianna Bancroft and her 17 assists. Finally, Jordan Seiuli kept Skyline's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

ALA - Queen Creek was led to victory by Brinklee Johnson and Kylie Morris. Johnson had four digs and two aces, while Morris had six assists and four digs. Johnson is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.
