Preview: Dakota Indians vs. Pearl City Wolves
The Dakota Indians on the road again on Saturday and play against the Pearl City Wolves at 9:00 a.m. on January 27th. Hopefully Dakota focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Thursday.
On Thursday, Dakota beat Pearl City 37-27.
Dakota got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Finley Banks out in front who scored seven points along with six rebounds and six steals. Banks is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Hailey Kerchner was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Dakota's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Pearl City, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.
Dakota beat Pearl City 37-27 in their previous matchup on Thursday. Will Dakota repeat their success, or does Pearl City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
