Soccer Game Preview: Nimitz vs. Richardson

The Nimitz Vikings will face off against the Richardson Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Richardson will have to contend with a Nimitz squad hungry for a victory, something the team hasn't seen yet this season. Nimitz took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Berkner on Friday.

Meanwhile, Richardson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Irving. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 563rd, while the Tigers are ranked tenth).

Nimitz's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-2. As for Richardson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1.
