Franklin can attribute much of their success to Hannah Finn, who hit 83.3% for eight digs, five kills, and four aces, and Bailey Reyes, who had six digs and two aces. Finn is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted nine or more in the last 22 games she's played dating back to last season.
Franklin couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 41.4% of their attack attempts. They are a perfect 4-0 when when their percentage is at least 0.4.
Meanwhile, Eastwood suffered their biggest defeat since October 24, 2023 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Eastlake.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 27-25, 25-20.
Franklin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season. As for Eastwood, their loss dropped their record down to 23-5.
