Volleyball Game Preview: Grace Christian Warriors vs. Blue Ridge Christian Bears

Grace Christian and Blue Ridge Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since August of 2022, but not for long. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Grace Christian is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since September 9th on Tuesday. They came up short against Timberlake Christian, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 25-13.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Blue Ridge Christian had no problem doing just that on Monday. Everything went their way against the Griffins as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Griffins recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Blue Ridge Christian took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-12, 25-11.

Blue Ridge Christian's win came from a few key players Grace Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Katie Zotov, who had six digs and two aces. Holly McAdams was another key player, getting six digs and two aces.

Grace Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Blue Ridge Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.
