Vardaman kept a clean sheet against Independence on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Independence Wildcats. Considering the Rams have won six games by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Vardaman pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those six contests. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Vardaman will be playing in front of their home fans against Mississippi School for Mathematics & Science at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Independence, they will head out on the road to square off against Strayhorn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
