Basketball Recap: Hernando Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Hernando had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 60-41 win over the Academy at the Lakes Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-40 two weeks ago.

Hernando's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sam Jackson led the charge by going 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points and six rebounds. Michael Brown was another key player, going 6 for 10 on his way to 14 points in addition to six boards and three steals.
