Football Recap: Northwood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Northwood managed to keep up with Seaforth until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Chargers came up short against the Hawks, falling 34-13. Having soared to a lofty 36 points in the game before, the Chargers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the loss, Northwood still got an impressive performance from Grayson Cox, who rushed for 148 yards while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.

A big part of Seaforth's victory came down to the chemistry between Duncan Parker and his top target Max Hinchman. Parker threw for 378 yards and four TDs while completing 73.1% of his passes while Hinchman picked up 144 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those four passing touchdowns gave Parker a new career-high.

Northwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Seaforth, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwood will venture away from home to face off against North Surry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Seaforth, they will head out to square off against North Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
