Baseball Recap: Putnam City West Takes a Loss

Putnam City West lost against Edmond Memorial last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 14-1. That's two games in a row now that the Patriots have lost by exactly 13 runs.

Putnam City West has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Edmond Memorial, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Putnam City West will challenge Bethany at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edmond Memorial, they will venture away from home to challenge Choctaw at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
