Baseball Recap: Pensacola Catholic Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Pensacola Catholic was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They fell 6-2 to the Faith Academy Rams.

Colton Guillot made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. He has become a key player for Pensacola Catholic: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least one home run, but 0-4 otherwise.

Pensacola Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Faith Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pensacola Catholic will welcome Pace at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Faith Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Madison Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Faith Academy 2.3, Madison Central 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
