Rutgers Prep posted their biggest victory since December 21, 2024 on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Phillipsburg Stateliners 83-53. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 94-71 back in December of 2024.

Matthew Scerbo Jr. and Ethan White-Philpot certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Scerbo Jr. went 8 for 19 on his way to 30 points and seven boards, while White-Philpot went 6 of 9 en route to 13 points. Scerbo Jr.'s evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The win got Rutgers Prep back to even at 6-6. As for Phillipsburg, the loss snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.

Rutgers Prep has already played their next contest (against Freehold Boro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Phillipsburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-50 victory against Easton Area on the 17th.
