Softball Game Preview: University Trojans vs. Belton Tigers

University is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Belton a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The University Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Belton Tigers at 7:00 p.m. University has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for University's offense. They lost 16-0 to Lake Belton on Tuesday. The match marked the first time this season in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Belton also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 5-0 to Lake Belton on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Belton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for University, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1.
