Basketball Game Preview: Gold Beach Panthers vs. Reedsport

Gold Beach is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Illinois Valley just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Reedsport, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They skirted past Myrtle Point 34-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Reedsport has posted since December 17, 2024.

Reedsport pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Gold Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.
