Football Game Preview: Toppenish Wildcats vs. Ephrata Tigers + Official Tickets

The Toppenish Wildcats will head out to take on the Ephrata Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Toppenish had to suffer through a 56-6 loss at the hands of East Valley. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Red Devils are ranked 41st).

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Ephrata and Othello have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Tigers took a 33-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies.

This is the second loss in a row for Toppenish and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Ephrata, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-3.

Toppenish beat Ephrata 15-6 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
