Basketball Game Preview: Rock Island Rocks vs. Moline Maroons

The Rock Island Rocks will face off against the Moline Maroons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rock Island will be strutting in after a victory while Moline will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, Rock Island was able to grind out a solid win over Manual, taking the game 68-55.

Meanwhile, Moline came up short against Alleman on Saturday and fell 45-38. The Maroons haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Rock Island has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-13 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Moline, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-13.
