Basketball Recap: Oak Forest Piles Up the Points Against Tinley Park

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thornton Fractional South, Oak Forest was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Tinley Park Titans, posting a 52-17 win. This was payback for the Bengals, who suffered a 35-32 loss the last time these two teams met.

Oak Forest now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Tinley Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Forest will venture away from home to face off against Lemont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tinley Park, they will head out on the road to take on Willows Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Willows Academy has six straight victories, Tinley Park has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
