Genoa-Kingston has gone a perfect 10-0 against North Boone recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cogs will face off against the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. North Boone took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Genoa-Kingston, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Genoa-Kingston earned a 2-0 victory over Oregon. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cogs.

Genoa-Kingston easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17.

Meanwhile, North Boone came up short against Winnebago on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

North Boone was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16.

North Boone's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-13. As for Genoa-Kingston, their win bumped their record up to 17-10.

Genoa-Kingston beat North Boone 2-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
