Baseball Game Preview: Pascack Valley Panthers vs. Teaneck Highwaymen

For the second straight game, Pascack Valley will face off against Teaneck. The Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Highwaymen at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Pascack Valley will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

If Pascack Valley beats Teaneck with eight runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Panthers beat the Highwaymen on Tuesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-5.

For Teaneck's part, Deyton Walcott was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Julian Vasquez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Pascack Valley's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Teaneck, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
