Volleyball Recap: Spring Valley Grizzlies vs. Durango Trailblazers
Spring Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Durango Trailblazers. While the Grizzlies didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trailblazers 25-21 in the first set.
Spring Valley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-21.
Dylan Agustin paced Spring Valley's offense, picking up 11 kills. Agustin got some help from Nathan Buckley and his 20 assists. Finally, Rammses Niz kept Spring Valley's defense grounded, leading the team with 11 blocks.
