Basketball Recap: St. David's Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

St. David had won three straight home games and Eliza Everett did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The St. David's Warriors came out on top against the Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs by a score of 43-33 thanks in part to Everett, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. What's more, she also racked up two assists, the most she's had since back in January of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Anna Hauser, who posted 11 points and three steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played.

St. David's is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.4 points per game. As for Wake Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

St. David's will face off against Cary Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Wake Christian Academy, they will square off against Trinity Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
