Recap: Middleton Tigers vs. Seffner Christian Crusaders

The Middleton Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their eighth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Seffner Christian, falling 77-43. While losing is never fun, Middleton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 709th, while Seffner Christian is ranked 236th).

When it comes to explaining why Middleton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Felix Harrell. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points.

Middleton's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-12. As for Seffner Christian, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Middleton will be playing in front of their home fans against Spoto at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Spoto focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday. As for Seffner Christian, they will head out on the road to take on George Jenkins at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. George Jenkins has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
