Everything went their way against the Le Mars Bulldogs on Wednesday as they made off with a 14-8 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolverines considering their two-run performance the contest before.

The win snapped Sioux City West's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-13 record. As for Le Mars, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Sioux City West by a score of 7-4 later that day.
